In a shallow bowl, gently mix watermelon pieces with cucumber, onion, vinegar, basil leaves and sugar

Simple Tomato Salad
Place the Ontario greenhouse tomatoes in a colander and sprinkle them with sea salt and black pepper. Let it sit for 30 minutes, then brush off and remove seeds, salt and pepper.

Warm B.E.S.T. Salad
Fry the bacon over medium heat until crisp. Transfer bacon to a paper towel lined plate and pour off all but 4 tbsp. (60 ml) of bacon fat. Add the extra virgin olive oil to the bacon fat and return to medium heat until shimmering.
