In 2010, Anna W. started working in one of our Warehouse facilities as a summer student, and eventually, a few days a week after school. Once she graduated high school, Anna decided to take a year off to work as a Gatekeeper for us. During that time, Anna was able to take on a new position with our Human Resources department, and she is happy to still be a member of our Human Resources team!

One of Anna’s main responsibilities is organizing payroll information – a task that requires a very specific skill-set: “I find I work well under pressure and often multitask to ensure payroll gets done in a timely manner. When it comes to doing payroll, it’s important that I communicate and solve any issues that may come up with the rest of the Human Resources team and our Supervisors on the farm.”

For Anna it has been exciting to witness the incredible growth of our company, especially in 2019: “Nature Fresh Farms has grown so much this year, and I’m excited to see our company continue to develop and the opportunities it will bring. Coming into work each morning and being able to build a relationship with and support my fellow coworkers is what makes it feel like a big second family.”

Baking, spending time with friends and family, and going to the gym are all ways Anna likes to spend her free time. Anna’s husband is a big support in her life and is always helping her to push her limits!

Anna enjoys the challenges that come each day with her role as a Human Resources Administrator. Alongside taking care of organizing payroll, Anna also helps with crop configuration (tracking plant density) and correcting daily data entries from our labor force in our PRIVA system.
