After working in the automotive industry for 19 years, John W. wanted to switch things up and try a different career path. During his job search, he came across Nature Fresh Farms and recognized the opportunity for growth within our company – soon after expressing interest in working with our team, John was offered a job in our Leamington, ON Distribution Center!

Switching from the automotive industry to fresh produce was a big shift for John: “When I started working at Nature Fresh Farms, it was a completely new setting for me, basically a 180 from my last job. The biggest difference that I noticed was the people – I work with such a diverse mix of people here!”

John believes it is because of our leadership that Nature Fresh Farms is such a great place to work: “I’ve learned a lot from this company, and our senior management team treats everyone with respect. I believe that emphasis on respect comes from Peter Quiring himself, and he has passed that value along to the rest of the management team.”

John spends most of his free time with his family and playing community sports, but he is also a Youth Leader at his local church. As a Youth Leader, John is committed to providing support to youth who may be struggling with a host of different issues, including addictions.

As our Warehouse Manager, John is on the move all day, working hard to keep our team motivated and ensure we continue to ship high-quality produce efficiently and safely. John is one of our #GrowToPeople!
