Jose D. has been with Nature Fresh Farms for nearly three years and enjoys his position because it allows him to learn new things every single day.

Jose was drawn to the Greenhouse industry because it allows him the opportunity to be around growing things: “I chose this area of work because I have always liked working outside. Although the greenhouse is not technically ‘outside’ there is a life and a vibrancy to the growing plants that I am drawn to. It is also an incredibly active role .”

Jose is a proud family man who takes pride in being the best father he can be, “In my spare time, I like taking my son to the park. We spend hours there together playing and laughing. He likes to help cook and wash dishes also! He’s only two so it’s kind of fun and messy when we hang out in the kitchen.”

Jose has a generous and kind spirit allowing him to find joy in helping others in any way possible. He also loves having dance parties with his son in the living room to their favorite songs.

As a Cart Driver, Jose oversees the transportation of our produce from the greenhouse to the packing line. This role requires a focus on safety and conscious awareness of his surroundings to keep our supply chain moving efficiently. Jose is one of our #GrowToPeople
