When Kerri O. was deciding what career path to choose, she originally chose teaching over the Human Resources field. However, when Kerri realized teaching wasn’t for her, she jumped right into Human Resources and hasn’t looked back since!

Ever since Kerri started working in the Human Resources field, she has also been involved in the greenhouse farming industry: “When I decided to switch career paths, I applied for a Human Resources Assistant position at a local greenhouse and I instantly knew that this is what I wanted to do. Greenhouse farming is non-stop and always busy, so being organized, multitasking, prioritizing tasks and time, and being adaptable to constant and rapid change is essential.”

Kerri’s experience at Nature Fresh Farms has been nothing but positive and encouraging: “When I think of Nature Fresh Farms, I think of all the wonderful things this company does for its employees and community, and how fortunate I am to work at such a wonderful place surrounded by hardworking, dedicated people.”

This year has been a lot of fun and has flown by for Kerri! But she is even more excited for what 2020 will bring – she is getting married in the fall and is looking forward to all the wedding festivities!

Within our Human Resource department, Kerri has many different responsibilities. Whether it’s helping to manage employee relations, coordinating recruitment and retention efforts, executing successful change strategies, or performing administrative tasks, every day is a different set of assignments to tackle and challenges to overcome!
