It may have taken Melissa P. many years to discover her passion for scouting, but now that she has found a job she loves, she’s here to stay.

Melissa started out working in customer service, but as a natural introvert, it wasn’t a field she found rewarding. After searching for a career that better suited her interests, she stumbled upon a Bio Scout job posting at Nature Fresh Farms. The rest is history.

With a love for hot weather and treasure hunting, working as a Bio Scout in the warm greenhouse was a perfect fit for Melissa: “You never know what you’re going to find, and that makes my job exciting. If you find something that helps keep the plants safe, or allows our Growers to fight diseases, you feel good about making a difference.”

For Melissa, the culture at Nature Fresh Farms is unlike anywhere else: “At Nature Fresh Farms, it doesn’t matter what language you speak or where you come from – our team supports each other through the good times and the bad, no matter what.”
