“Nature Fresh Farms is full of opportunity and forever growing.”

When Nick R. moved to Maumee, OH just over 1 year ago, he didn’t picture himself working as part of the fresh produce supply chain. He started at the Nature Fresh Farms Warehouse in Ohio as a General Laborer, but Nick was soon promoted to a Gatekeeper, then Line Lead, and now a position with our Allocation team!

Both the people and the work environment are what make Nick enjoy his job in our Ohio-based Distribution Center: “Once I started with the company, I came to really like what we do here, especially the efficiency of everything. Overall, it’s a good team environment with good people. And the company is always getting better.”

Now that he has been with us for over two years, Nick has enjoyed becoming more involved with the company: “I’ve been able to make it out to a lot of company of company events and participate in some different campaigns, but I’m still hoping I’ll get an opportunity to visit the Sales operation in Leamington, ON sometime soon so I can see how it’s run.”

In his spare time, Nick enjoys golfing and playing music. Fun fact: Nick can play 24 different instruments! His favorite? The drums!

In our Ohio-based Distribution Center, Nick works with our Allocation team to manage all Peppers coming into the Distribution Center. Nick allocates the product to ensure orders are filled, as well as works with the rest of the Distribution Center team to plan for future shipping and production needs related to Pepper products. Nick is one of our #GrowToPeople!
