David F. has lived in the Leamington, ON area for most of his life, and his first job was as a General Laborer in a local cactus greenhouse. When David moved into their Shipping department, he was given his first introduction to the Trucking industry – and that’s where it all began!

For twelve years, David was an independent Truck Owner and Operator, taking on local driving jobs and creating relationships with different businesses in the Essex County area. He started working with Nature Fresh Farms Sales as a local driver in 2011, and after creating a good relationship with our team, he was asked to join our Shipping and Receiving department. Since then, David has moved into our Logistics department full-time to manage our fleet!

As a member of the Nature Fresh Farms Logistics team, David has a lot to check off his to-do list every day: “My days are full of problem solving and overcoming unique challenges, but you get to leave at the end of the day knowing you accomplished a lot with a great team beside you.”

In David’s spare time, he enjoys outings with his three girls, playing volleyball and softball, and hanging out with his new puppy, Mayo. David may seem serious when you first meet him, but that’s not his true personality – he’s all about having a good time and being easy-going.

When you walk into the Nature Fresh Farms Sales office, you will often find David on the phone with our different carriers and drivers, organizing produce pick-ups and drop-offs and problem solving when unexpected logistical challenges arise. He is one of the #GrowToPeople!
