After receiving his Business degree from the University of Windsor, Justin G. had full intentions to become an Accountant. While he was looking for a job in the Accounting field, Justin was hired for what he thought would be an interim position within the produce industry. Now, after growing within our company since 2015, Justin couldn’t be happier as the Senior Commodities Manager at our Sales Distribution Center!

As a Nature Fresh Farms team member, Justin knows he will always be encouraged and supported by the company: “Nature Fresh Farms is kind of like that supportive, successful family member that everyone deserves, but people rarely have – they push you to do things you never thought you could and open doors you didn’t even know existed.”

During his time with us, Justin has worked hard to fill gaps and eliminate waste: “I noticed that, every year, we were wasting fresh products that couldn’t be sold at the retail level, but that were still nutritious and fully edible. After fixating on this and receiving buy-in, I was able to develop a donation program where we have partnered with a few key North American food rescue organizations.”

Alongside spending time with his growing family, Justin spends his free time staying active, visiting new local establishments, or reading a good book. Fun fact: Justin has already finished reading 43 books this year alone!

As the Senior Commodities Manager at our Distribution Center in Leamington, ON, Justin is responsible for supporting the development of his team, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and finding new ways to minimize waste within our organization. Justin is one of our #GrowToPeople!
