“I got into Logistics totally by fluke – but I quickly fell in love with it.”

Originally from southwestern Ontario, Leigh Ann B. has worked in a variety of industries all over North America. After 5 years of working in Alabama and Illinois in the steel industry, she moved back to Canada in 2018 and started in a Logistics position with the Nature Fresh Farms team!

The field of Logistics was never on Leigh Ann’s radar until she was looking for a change from a career in Marketing: “I quickly fell in love with the high-paced environment of Logistics. It’s important to me to feel like what I do makes a difference, and Logistics plays such a big part in a company’s success. I truly feel it is what I was meant to do, as I really thrive in this type of environment.”

The thing that struck Leigh Ann after starting at Nature Fresh Farms was the family atmosphere: “It doesn’t matter what department you work in or at what level, at Nature Fresh Farms, you are family, and I absolutely love that.”

Leigh Ann spends most of her free time, working out, playing and watching sports (especially college football), and hanging out with family and friends. Her three nieces and nephews, all currently under the age of 3, like to keep her on her toes!

Building relationships with carriers, measuring successful performance of our Logistics team and carrier base, and streamlining Logistics processes are all important parts of Leigh Ann’s role as the Director of Logistics at Nature Fresh Farms. Leigh Ann is one of our #GrowToPeople!
