“It’s a nice feeling knowing your day is going to be as good as the first sip of your coffee in the morning.”

For many years, Nick F. has worked in the agricultural sector, and about one year ago, he joined the Nature Fresh Farms team as a member of our Energy department. When he started in his position, Nick was looking for new challenges and new opportunities – and that’s exactly what he has found working with our biomass boilers every day!

Before he started working with our team, Nick didn’t have any experience with biomass boiler technology: “Even though I hadn’t worked with biomass boilers before, I’m a quick learner and a problem solver, so I was able to catch on to things and learn a lot. Working with this technology you also have to have close attention to detail, be adaptable, and remain calm under pressure.”

Nature Fresh Farms represents a bright future for Nick: “I’m looking forward to continuing to work for a great company that treats their employees well. Nature Fresh Farms is growing, expending, and using some of the most up to date technology and equipment available. It is a place where I see a future for myself.”

In Nick’s free time, he likes to be with his family and go fishing, camping, traveling, and boating. He also enjoys cooking from stove top in the house to using the barbecue or smoker outside – needless to say, Nick is looking forward to a busy summer!

Nick’s main responsibility within the Energy department is maintaining the day to day operations of our biomass boilers. Nick operates the boiler system, performs maintenance on the boiler equipment, and looks after the wood yard where we keep all the clean wood used as fuel for the boilers.
