“I was instantly drawn to Nature Fresh Farms and the chance to bring a cutting-edge greenhouse to my little hometown.”

Zack S., born and raised in Wauseon, OH, spent his younger years working as a farm hand – a classic first job for many young people living in the Fulton County area. After high school, Zack attended the University of Tennessee and studied Wildlife and Fisheries Biology, but he moved back to his hometown of Wauseon once him and his wife wanted to settle down and start their family.

When he moved back, Zack started hearing a lot about job opportunities at the new Nature Fresh Farms greenhouse in Delta, OH – he decided to join our team and has since worn many hats and tried out different roles within our company. Zack is currently our Packhouse Manager in Delta – a role he was eager to take on!

For Zack, Nature Fresh Farms represents growth in every sense of the word: “Nature Fresh Farms has helped me grow in my career and personally, and I’d like to think that I have been a part of growing Nature Fresh Farms here in the United States, too.” The Buckeye state is entrenched in agriculture, and Zack believes Nature Fresh Farms has helped put Delta on the agricultural map in a unique and meaningful way.

When Zack isn’t at work, you can find him hanging out with his family, spending time outdoors, or training in combat sports like kickboxing and Brazilian jiujitsu! Zack and his wife also welcomed their second son Jack last year. Fun fact: him and Zack share a birthday!

As our Packhouse Manager in Delta, Zack is responsible for managing the Packhouse team and overseeing product quality and packaging. He ensures our Ohio-grown Tomatoes are shipped to your local grocery store looking their absolute best! Zack is one of the #GrowToPeople.
