"Don't forget to eat your veggies!"
“Eat your veggies” is the age-old parental saying, but when it comes down to it, the majority of Canadians and Americans are not eating enough fruits and vegetables. It’s recommended to choose a variety of colorful veggies and aim for 1 to 3 cups daily, depending on your age and gender.
Building healthy eating habits starts at a young age, so our goal is to show children that eating veggies can be fun, especially when they are in the kitchen helping. We’ll be making a free guide that includes the top tips and recipes for getting kids to eat their veggies to help families incorporate more vegetables in their diets.
We want to include you in this guide, so share your best tip or recipe with us and your submission may be chosen! Whether it’s getting your child to help wash and cut vegetables or presenting vegetables in a creative way, we want to hear all about it!
