Nutrition Note
These burgers offer a lower saturated fat version in comparison to traditional beef burgers. To add nutrient density to your meal, try serving them on top of a salad or crumbled into Long Sweet Pepper Boats.
Time Saver Tip
If you are making these on a busy week-night or as part of a gathering when hosting others at your home, here is a great way to save on mess and time when it’s time to barbecue: mix the ingredients ahead of time! You can mix everything together, roll the ingredients up into balls in the amount of each patty, and store them in an air-tight container in the fridge. Pull them out of the fridge about 10 minutes before you are ready to BBQ and then flatten them into the desirable size of patties before cooking.
