- Preheat oven to 400°.
- Lay baguette slices on a sheet pan and brush with 1/4 cup olive oil.
- Bake for about 10 minutes, until bread is toasted. For an extra crunch, place the sheet pan in your broiler for an additional minute.
- Mix ricotta cheese with salt, pepper, and 2 teaspoons of the remaining olive oil. Add a dollop of the ricotta mixture onto each piece of toasted bread and then neatly layer strawberries on top.
- Top with sliced basil and balsamic.
