Careers on the Farm

Our team requires many hands pulling in the same direction to operate effectively. This team is comprised of many different interconnected roles and skillsets.

Administrative & Corporate Leaders

These positions ensure that our teams are connected and informed and that we continue to cultivate relationships with retail partners and consumers alike. They manage our financial assets as well as our people strategy. Positions include Purchasing, Sales, Human Resources, Marketing, Compliance, IT and Technical teams, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and Administrative teams.

Our Administrative and Corporate roles are essential to setting and maintaining the strategic direction of Nature Fresh Farms to ensure the success of our operation.

Distribution & Logistics

From a distribution perspective, there are many job opportunities at our Distribution Centers related to the movement of fresh produce to and from our facilities. We have a range of departments that are important to our supply chain, including: Dry Goods, Inventory, Production, Commodities, Shipping & Receiving, and Quality Control. We also can’t forget our fleet of Truck Drivers who are pivotal in delivering fresh vegetables from our farm to your table.

Nothing moves in North America without a top-notch Logistics and Distribution team. Our workers ensure that millions of pounds of produce each year reach their intended destination safely and on time.

Maintenance

A greenhouse operation is made up of many different moving parts – which is why we need an expert Maintenance department to keep everything running smoothly!

From hooking up electrical lines to troubleshooting new Packhouse machinery, the Maintenance team is always busy fixing and improving the different machinery and utilities throughout our facilities. Their team members are often considered ‘Jacks of all trades’ – they always seem to know exactly how to fix a problem, no matter how complex it may seem.

If you like problem solving and getting your hands a bit dirty, working in a greenhouse Maintenance department may be right up your alley!

Growers

To grow our crops, we require a mixture of Growers, Assistant Growers, Labor Managers, General Laborers, Bio Scouts, Trial Development, and other Greenhouse employees. These folks work directly with our greenhouse crops ensuring our Tomatoes, Peppers, and Cucumbers are of the highest quality!

Warehouse

The workers in our Warehouses take the baton from our growing team, working together to pack our produce according to our strict food safety standards. Next to our Growing staff, these employees work closest to our produce and are essential to getting fresh veggies to your shelves.

There are a wide range of roles in our Warehouses including: Pack Line Managers, Supervisors, Line Leaders, Gatekeepers, Quality Control, Forklift Drivers, Pack Line Workers, and Box Makers.

Leamington, Ontario

Construction Crew

We are currently looking for eight Construction Workers for our new greenhouse builds. The ideal candidates should have a greenhouse construction background, are hardworking and enjoy performing a variety of tasks within a team environment.

Health, Safety, & Wellness Manager

Reporting to the HR Corporate Director, The Health, Safety, and Wellness Manager oversees all activities of the Health & Safety department including leading all Health, Safety, and Wellness programs and initiatives across the organization. They ensure employee safety and protection measures are in place and compliant with applicable legislation. Their primary responsibility is to identify, remedy and reduce operational, physical, and environmental factors that may cause or contribute to accidents or injury.

Delta, Ohio

Human Resources Manager

We are currently seeking an applicant to join our team and fill a full-time position as a Human Resources Manager at our Greenhouse in Delta, OH. Reporting directly to the Corporate Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Manager develops and implements human resource strategies and supports the goals and objectives of the organization by effectively managing and administering HR policies and programs in accordance with company policy and appropriate legislation.

Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking an applicant to join our team for a full-time position as a Maintenance Technician at our greenhouse operation in Delta, OH.

The Maintenance employees are responsible for working on their assigned tickets and keeping the farm in good and safe working condition.  General maintenance tasks include but are not limited to building repairs/maintenance, equipment repairs/maintenance and troubleshooting building systems.
