What. A. Month.
In wrapping up my 3rd year visiting NatureFresh, I knew that I had to see more than I had experienced in the last couple of years. My 24 days went by so fast, can’t even tell you what I had for lunch 2 days ago. The company has grown by leaps and bounds, especially in the last year with new digs in Ohio, VERY COOL.
While most will see an Elf on The Shelf as a pesky little thing that creates havoc, pops up out of nowhere, makes snow angels in the sugar bowl or torments kids for days on end, I, Francis (Frankie) Michael Anthony Fresh, am not like the others. While there may be some who attempt to be like me and mimic the various things I do, I am the real deal. Yes, the REAL deal. My curiosity fuels my creativity in discovering everything about NatureFresh™ Farms that I can. I do not pretend to make little creatures out of tomatoes or scale boxes of produce on a pallet or even drive forklifts. I got my hands dirty. From IPM to growing to biomass energy to packaging to sales meetings, you name it, I did it. Why? Because I am curious.
Like consumers, I wanted to know who grew the tomatoes, bell peppers and cucumbers. I made my way around all the NatureFresh facilities at all hours of the day and night to understand more about how greenhouse vegetables are grown. Everything I saw was consistent with what I learned on the NatureFresh website and various social media channels. Very cool in every respect. In understanding how the vegetables are grown and where they come from, I feel even better knowing the care that goes in to what I buy.
Below is a collage of all the things I did this December. To see it close up, go here.
Over the course of the month of December, I also randomly visited a variety of peoples work areas at the Seneca Production Facility, Sales Office, Farm, Maumee Distribution Center, and the new greenhouse in Delta, OH. More than 40 different people received a random act of kindness to show I appreciated seeing how hard they worked for NatureFresh™ Farms. Everyone received a mug, chocolates, a Tim’s Card (Canada) or a Kroger card (USA) to enjoy this holiday season. To top it all off, every single person will receive a limited edition t-shirt. These people below are just some of those awesome folks who received a special treat.
A handful of departments around NatureFresh also received donuts and piping hot cups of coffee courtesy of Tim Hortons throughout the month of December. Why? Just a random act of kindness for hard working people this holiday season.
It’s clear to see that NatureFresh™ Farms has great people who help grow amazing vegetables. From Leamington, ON to Delta, OH and everything in between, rest assured that NatureFresh is making great strides to deliver the best tomatoes, bell peppers, and cucumbers.
Great things to come. I can just feel it.
So to wrap it up, it’s been a slice people. Looking forward to a little R&R, toes up, long siesta, or whatever you want to call it, wishing you and yours the best this holiday season. See you in 2017!
Peace out.
